There is an option to show seconds on the clock, something on which Microsoft is still working on getting restored on Windows 11. System Tray, for instance, lists a good dozen options that define behavior this depends on the selected taskbar style, with Windows 10's taskbar style offering more options than Windows 11's.įor Windows 10, users may show or remove options. Windows 10 is the default, and it allows users to add or remove items, change the Start button style and taskbar alignment, and move the taskbar from the bottom location to the top or the sides of the screen. The current layout means that you have to click a lot to check out all the tweaks Windows Tweaker offers. While I'm no fan of throwing all tweaks on a single page, less categories would mean faster access to the tweaks without losing anything in the process. It happens more often than it should that you end up with a single tweak on a page. See, the categories that it supports are listed on the left, and sub-categories as tabs in the main interface. While that may sound neat, it makes it difficult to keep an overview and navigate the program. Windows Tweaker ships with more than one hundred tweaks sorted in more than a dozen main categories and dozens of sub-categories. While there are plenty of tweak apps out there for Windows, there is always room for one more especially if it does not just rehash what other programs already offer. While Windows 10 is not mentioned, most of the tweaks work fine on the newest version of Windows as well. The open source program is compatible with all supported versions of Windows starting with Windows Vista and up to Windows 8.1.
